authorised and regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers
More about us
In April 2014, Goodwills Legal Services Ltd. was created, with the purpose of providing a wider range of services and to provide reassurance to all of its clients by moving all of the company’s work into the regulated sector.Since this time, we have been law firm regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and therefore also abide by their Code of Conduct.
As a law firm, we always advise our clients directly but we have relationships with Financial Advisors, IFAs, Mortgage Brokers, Estate Planning Practitioners and Consultants up and down the country. Our trained network of advisers is able to give direct advice to our mutual clients, whilst Goodwills Legal Services ensure that all legal documents are prepared correctly.
Goodwills Legal Services operates nationwide and is able to provide services across the whole of England and Wales. Our advisers’ training ensures that the solutions they explain to clients will be clearly understood and will make sense. We do not believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach to advice. Our ethical standards and our code of practice ensure that our clients enjoy the very highest level of care and consideration. Together, the Goodwills Legal Services team of consultants, professional advisers, office staff and qualified drafting team work to provide cost effective products for all of our clients. This has made Goodwills Legal Services one of the fastest growing Will-Writing organisations in the country.
As a regulated law firm, our clients have the peace of mind of knowing that they are receiving advice to the very highest standards and that all of our work is covered by full Professional Indemnity Insurance. We are, as a regulated firm, able to offer a wider range of services than just Wills, including Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Professional Executorship, Trusts, Court of Protection work and Property work, including a wide range of conveyancing services.
Our Head Office is located in the building of our ‘sister firm’, Premier Solicitors LLP, in central Bedford. We have six meeting rooms available and so always try to be available for our clients at a time which is most convenient for them. We are also able to offer extended meeting times up to 7.00pm on weekdays and from 10.00am – 2.00pm on Saturdays – if these times would be more convenient for you then please do let us know and we will be happy to book an appointment for you.
We also have a large boardroom, which we primarily use for training our consultants and financial adviser partners (IFAs). It is as a result of these excellent facilities that we are able to ensure that all of the partners we work with receive the very best continuing training and are therefore able to provide the very best advice to all of our clients.
What We Do Best
THEY ARE ALL PROFESSIONALS
Unlike other Will-Writing firms, our drafting team all have legal qualifications and our Directors are Solicitors, which means we are able to guarantee a high level of service and advice to all of our clients. From their first day with the company, our staff enjoy in depth training on all of the areas of the law that we deal with and are always happy to offer clients a free chat regarding any concerns or queries they may have. We know that our company depends on our people and so we constantly endeavour to provide all of our staff with continuing training, development and opportunities.
